Vikings down ROP netters

The South Tahoe Vikings boys tennis team dominated its match with Rite of Passage14-8 on Wednesday in South Lake Tahoe.

Head coach Pat Fagen used the match as an opportunity to play some of his younger players. One regular who did pretty well was Corrie Lindsay. The junior only lost to ROP’s No. 1 singles player, Jeff Kiran in a tiebreaker. Kiran hasn’t lost a match all season.

“Corrie has played pretty well,” said Fagen, whose squad improved to 5-1 with the win. “He has progressed a long way this season.”

Next up for the netters is Hug today at home.
