Widespread haze expected in Lake Tahoe Basin

Lake Tahoe can expect widespread haze at times throughout this week, according to the National Weather Service.
Ongoing wildfires in the region are expected to send haze and smoke into the basin, the service states. Monday will see widespread haze, while Tuesday will likely be the clearest day all week due to shifting winds. Haze is expected to return Wednesday.
It will be another dry week at Tahoe, with no precipitation in the forecast, however, that could change heading into next week, the service states.
Near average temperatures are expected this week with afternoon breezes. Monday’s high temperature in South Lake Tahoe will reach 77 degrees. The low will dip to 47 degrees.
