Wednesday road report

Today’s commute should be relatively easy, despite some road construction in the South Shore, Highway 50 over Echo Summit and Highway 207 over Kingsbury Grade.

Gusty winds are expected today, so be prepared for dust and debris in the air. You may want to keep your headlamps on.

Road work continues this week so be prepared for some start and stop traffic along the basin’s main arteries. Construction and one-way controlled traffiic will continue on Highway 50 from 1.6 miles east to 2.6 mile east of Meyers today and this evening. Expect traffic delays of about 10 minutes.

Road construction continues along Highway 207. Watch for one-way delays on upper and lower Kingsbury Grade for road and utiltity maintenance.

Work continues in the Stateline redevelopment zone. Watch for large trucks entering onto Highway 50 at Stateline that could cause some delays.
