Weekend will welcome warmer weather
June 7, 2007
There will be a few more bouts of unsettled weather to get through this weekend before things begin to settle down again early next week.
For today, after a mostly sunny start, expect at least a chance of showers and thunderstorms by afternoon, especially south of Tahoe and along the Sierra west of the lake.
It will be warmer with highs getting back up into the 60s to near 70 and generally light winds except near any thunderstorms, where gusty winds will be possible.
Saturday looks like the best day, of the weekend, with bright sunshine, a few clouds and generally light winds, with highs in the mid 60s to lower 70s.
By Sunday, though, increasing clouds and winds will lead to a slight chance of showers by late in the day, along with cooler temperatures. Highs will fall back to the lower to mid 60s. Lows through the weekend will be in the 30s to near 40.
Have a great weekend!
