What president’s visit means to Lake Tahoe

Cory Fisher

What do you say to the president of the United States when he visits your home town?

With President Clinton and Vice President Gore scheduled to host the Lake Tahoe Presidential Forum on July 25-26, many Tahoe residents have seized the opportunity to invite the president to an event of their own.

The Tahoe Daily Tribune is interested in learning about all the invitations that have been sent to the president by Lake Tahoe residents, businesses, civic clubs and public agencies.

Whether it’s an invitation to a wedding, or for a tour of a local business, if you extended an invitation to the president, we’d like to hear from you. Call Cory Fisher at 541-3880, ext. 208, or send a copy of your letter to the Tribune at P.O. Box 1358, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96156.
