What shaped Lake Tahoe is topic for cancer league meeting

The South Lake Tahoe Cancer League will host its monthly luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 22 at Harveys Resort & Casino Garden Buffet Room.

The guest speaker will be Dr. Lyndall Landauer. Her topic will be “Major Events That Shape Life Today at Lake Tahoe.” Because of her interesting and informative presentations, she is one of the most requested speakers.

The Lake Tahoe Cancer League is a local volunteer organization offering help and assistance to residents of the South Lake Tahoe area between Glenbrook, Nev., and Emerald Bay, Calif. A variety of services are available to cancer patients without cost and are designed to meet individual needs.
