What the library offers at ‘Beyond Books’

Tribune staff report

What do you know about your South Lake Tahoe Library and the El Dorado County Library system?

“Beyond Books: Your 21st Century Library” will be presented at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the meeting room at the South Lake Tahoe branch of the El Dorado County Library.

Jeanne Amos, director of the El Dorado County Libraries, will talk about the resources, services and programs that take the library beyond a source of print books and make it a community hub. She will also provide information on funding sources for the library. Local stakeholders and attendees will then have an opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion on how the library can continue to be a vital and important service center for our community.
