Due to incorrect information provided to the Tribune, a brief regarding the South Tahoe High School Grad Night planning committee meeting published in Tuesday’s edition reported the incorrect day of the meeting.
The committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Chase’s Restaurant, Lake Tahoe Airport.
The community is welcome to join the committee as they begin planning the all-night, drug- and alcohol-free party for this year’s graduating seniors.

Meeting to focus on treatment
The People Helping People South Lake Tahoe Hepatitis C Support Group will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Star Lake Building, 2489 Lake Tahoe Blvd., No. 7. This month the meeting will focus on new treatment information from the recent HCV conference.
The support group offers compassion to individuals and their loved ones who have questions or need support for hepatitis C. Support is free.

Leave the kids behind Friday
The city of South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor on Friday a Parents Night Out for children in kindergarten through eighth-grade. The event will take place from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Recreation and Swim Pool Complex, 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd.
The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. with swimming and movies. The cost is $5 per child and advance registration is required. For an extra $2.50 participants may purchase two slices of Dominoes pizza and a cup of soda or they may bring their own dinner.

Time to talk property tax
The Douglas County Republican Central Committee will meet Thursday at the Minden Justice Center in Judge Michael Gibbon’s Courtroom. Coffee at 7 p.m. with meeting at 7:30 p.m. Sen. Mike McGinness will speak about Property Tax Relief.
This is a very important meeting as election of officers for the next two years will be held for chair, Tahoe Township vice chair, East Fork Township chair, treasurer, recording secretary and correspondence secretary as well as an at-large representative from Lake Tahoe. St. Pat’s party this Saturday
The public is invited to attend a St. Patrick’s Day party from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at American Legion Post 795 at 2748 Lake Tahoe Blvd. The event will include good food including corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots. A no-host bar will be open for people to purchase their favorite drinks.
