Tahoe Gymnastics has scheduled a special try-out class for youths who want to join the Tahoe Stars Mini all-star cheerleading team. The class is scheduled at 4 p.m. July 6. Competitive cheerleading combines three sports into one: hip hop dance, gymnastics tumbling and cheerleading stunting.

Participants should arrive a little early with a parent or guardian to fill out a release form. Wear appropriate clothing for working out.

Anyone between the ages of 5 and 8 is encouraged to try-out. Dance, cheer, and/or gymnastics experience is recommended, but not required.
