Celtic music at the Dory’s Oar

Anne Roos, Tahoe Celtic harpist, will perform at the Dory’s Oar Restaurant from 6 to 9 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.

Roos has been performing professionally for nearly 20 years. Her instrument, the Celtic harp, is a traditional British Isles instrument that predates the modern concert harp. This early wooden harp produces unique bell-like tones that lends authenticity to her repertoire of Celtic favorites. She also performs a variety of music from classical and renaissance to modern popular by George Gershwin, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Disney film music and movie themes. She welcomes requests from diners.

Reservations at the Dory’s Oar, 1041 Fremont Ave., are recommended. Call (530) 541-6603.
