Monday Night Football at American Legion

Monday Night Football at American Legion Post 795 will begin at 4 p.m. Monday at 2748 Lake Tahoe Blvd. The public is welcome.

The evening will include watching football on three TV screens, hot dogs and chili for $2, and a no-host bar. For more information, call (530) 541-8788.



Art and music at Galerie Blu’u today

Galerie Blu’u will present The Art of Jazz and welcome artist Ashley Bennett-Stoddard today and Saturday.



Bennett-Stoddard will create a work of art between 5 to 8 p.m. at the gallery, inside MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa.

Steve Vasconcellos and the Prophetz will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight. Wine will be served.

Zephyr Cove Library to close for Christmas

The Douglas County Public Library in Zephyr Cove will be closed Dec. 25 for Christmas.

The library will resume its regular schedule at 11 a.m. Dec. 26.
