South Tahoe High School will offer a computer access signup night for parents from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the high school library.
Parents who have access to a computer and have a current e-mail account will be able to view their student’s attendance, course assignments and grades from home. Parents can have an account created at the Thursday meeting.
South Tahoe High School would like to increase the participation of parents in their student’s education. It can be challenging to monitor a student’s progress at school, and now parents can be part of the education of their student from any computer.
The South Tahoe High School Viking Booster Club will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the high school library. The golf tournament, scheduled May 3 and 4 and hosted with Whittell High School, will be discussed.

The South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring Gym Time for Toddlers and Preschool Children.
The event will take place from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. each Monday and Thursday through April 28 at the Recreation and Swim Complex, 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd.
The Recreation Complex will be closed April 14 and 17 and on all Lake Tahoe Unified School District snow days. The cost is $2 per child. For more information, call the Recreation Complex at (530) 542-6056.
The South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor Dodge Ball Night from 6:20 to 10 p.m. this Friday and March 21 at the Recreation and Swim Pool Complex, 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd.
The program is for everyone. Bring a team, or just show up and be put on a team. The event is free, and child care will not be available. For more information, call (530) 542-6056.
The South Lake Tahoe Yacht Club will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a potluck dinner at the clubhouse in the Tahoe Keys Marina. The event will start at 6 p.m. March 15.
