Bring playbook to Steamers Bar

The South High School Quarterback Club will meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Steamers Bar and Grill. All are welcome.

Members will be organizing for homecoming and volunteers are desperately needed. Call Monique McIntyre at (530) 542-5526.

-Pajama Party held this week at library

The South Lake Tahoe Branch Library will sponsor a Pajama Party for preschoolers at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.

All preschool-age children, 3 to 5 years of age, and their parents are invited. The program will last approximately 45 minutes. Children should wear their pajamas, bring a favorite toy or blanket and be ready for stories, crafts and treats.

The South Lake Tahoe Library is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

-Park Place official speaks at job fair

Joyce Decker of Park Place Entertainment will be the featured presenter at the Employer Forum at 10 a.m. Thursday at JobOne OneStop, 1029 Takela Drive.

The Employee Forum is an opportunity for job seekers to meet employers in a casual setting, to ask questions and gather information in order to decide on who their next employer could be.
