Out with the snow and in with the sunshine. That’s the theme of a “Pray for Sun” party today at Fresh Ketch, located at the Tahoe Keys Marina.

The event will be from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Live music will be provided by Cool Black Kettle. Raffle prizes, drink specials and a frozen T-shirt contest will be among the activities. Call (530) 541-5683 or visit http://www.thefreshketch.com for details.

With current tax codes in flux, estate planning has become increasingly complex.

Join Gerald Dorn and George Ashley today for a workshop that will help you navigate the upcoming changes in estate taxes and guide you through the process of estate planning. The workshop will be held at the DW Reynolds Community Nonprofit Center, 948 Incline Way in Incline Village, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The workshop will be followed by a wine and cheese reception. The event is free to the public.

This is the first in a series of estate-planning workshops sponsored by the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation. Please RSVP to Parasol at (775) 298-0184.
