The Lake Tahoe Corvette Club will meet July 1 at Q’s Barbecue restaurant in Carson City.

Dinner hour is from 6 to 7 p.m., and the meeting is from 7 to 8 p.m. All Corvette owners are invited to attend.

An AARP Senior Driver Safety course sponsored by the Douglas County Parks Department will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 12 at Kahle Community Center, 236 Kingsbury Grade.

Advance registration is required. To register and for more information, call Kahle Community Center at (775) 586-7271.

A $10 classroom fee, payable at the start of the course, will cover the workbook and materials costs.
