Recycled items are basis of art show

Artists are invited to participate in a juried art show for The Sustainable Living and Renewable Energy Roundup Aug. 11-12 at Ferris Park in Minden.

The show is an exhibit of art, practical items and fashion accessories created from used, surplus or found materials. “Recycled” in this context is described as elements that were originally manufactured and would otherwise be thrown away.
