What’s Happening- LTSUD holds textbook hearing

Lake Tahoe Unified School District will conduct a public hearing at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, on the pupil textbook and instruction material incentive program. The district encourages participation by parents, teachers, members of the community and bargaining unit leaders.

The governing board will certify, through resolution, as to whether each pupil in each school in the district has, or will have prior to the end of the fiscal year, sufficient textbooks and/or instructional materials in each subject that are consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum framework adopted by the state board of education.

For information, call the district office at (530) 541-2850.
