The young people at Sierra Community Church will sponsor a benefit crafts and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 12 at Raley’s at the “Y.”

Proceeds will go to Susie Rizk and her daughter.

Thanksgiving feast Sunday

First Baptist Church of South Lake Tahoe, 1053 Wildwood Ave., will provide a free church-wide Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday. The community is invited to attend.

A time to reflect on God’s goodness throughout the year will be offered during the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday morning services and a delicious Thanksgiving dinner will be served around 12:45 p.m.
