What’s happening- Teen Night takes trippy twist Friday

Grab your parents’ weirdest clothes and head for the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Complex on Friday, June 8, for Teen Night Out. It’s a 60’s theme, and prizes will be awarded for the best hippie outfit. Big hair, tie dye, bell bottoms and beads all work.

All middle-school students with an I.D. card are invited. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for basketball and games with music and dancing from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. All participants must be picked up at 9:30 p.m. Admission is $4 with refreshments and glow sticks at additional cost.

The South Lake Tahoe Recreation Complex is located at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd. For information, call 542-6056.
