Whittell loses in first round, coach says he will resign
Hawthorne defeated Whittell 45-34 tonight in the first round of the Northern 2A girls regional basketball tournament at Rite of Passage.
The Serpents advance to Friday’s regional semifinals against Battle Mountain. The Warriors finish the season 9-15.
