Whittell High’s boys’ soccer team left Incline Village frustrated with its 1-1 tie against Incline on Thursday night.

“We had a lot of opportunities and couldn’t finish … tons of chances in the box that we couldn’t put away,” said STHS coach Steve Maltase.

Trevor Fairbank opened the scoring in the 25th minute and Incline didn’t produce the tying goal until being awarded a penalty kick at 50:00.

The Warriors (2-2-1 in league) play Portola in a nonleague match Monday in Zephyr Cove.
