Whittell volleyball | Warriors make comeback

Kelsey Kjer: 4 assists, 20 points

The Warriors are making a habit of getting their opponent’s hopes up and then stealing the final three games away.

The Whittell volleyball team rallied back from a two-game deficit once again to capture a road win in five games on Tuesday. Silver Stage took the first two matches 25-21 and 26-24. The Warriors regrouped and came back to win the next three games 25-21, 25-19 and 15-9.

Tori Jimenez, Hailey Elliott, Zoe Bertz, Serena Libert and Kelsey Kjer led the way offensively.



Jimenez racked up 23 points and 10 kills. Elliott delivered 34 assists and 13 points. Bertz contributed 21 kills. Libert had seven kills. Kejer added four assists and 20 points.

The girls improved to 7-3 in league.



UP NEXT: The Warriors travel to Sierra Lutheran on Friday and host Coleville at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
