Wildlife Web site revamped

Check out Nevada Division of Wildlife’s redesigned Web site at http://www.ndow.org.

The site includes new wildlife education resources for teachers, fish stocking updates, interpretive trail maps and birding checklists.

The site also contains Nevada Wild, which reports about species of animals found in Nevada. Right now the section features wild turkey and sage grouse conservation.

Wildlife regulations, applications and license information for hunters and anglers can also be found at the site.

A separate boating education Web site can be accessed from the Division of Wildlife’s main page. Go to http://www.boatnevada.org to learn about changes to Nevada’s boating regulations that go into effect Jan. 1.

If a computer is not available, call the Division of Wildlife’s Reno office at (775) 688-1500 for more information.
