Win a laptop
The Douglas County Public Library in Minden and Zephyr Cove is celebrating National Library week April 11 through 16. This year, teens have the opportunity to win a laptop computer in a letter writing contest.
“Create Your Own Story @ your library” invites teens to write a letter to an author who has inspired them. Each teen may submit one typed letter of up to 600 words.
Every teen who enters the contest is eligible to win a laptop computer.
Entries must be received by April 10. The winner will be announced April 16.
This contest is part of the One Book Douglas community reading program featuring “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society,” a novel written in the form of letters.
