The Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament, for Ordinary People meeting Extraordinary Needs, will be Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Theresa Parish Hall, 1041 Lyons Ave.

OPEN, the “little club with big hearts,” is staging this event to raise money for people with expensive medical needs.

Those not playing poker may purchase only the dinner for $15, which will include participation in the silent auction. Other ticket prices are $45 for donation buy-in, $20 add-on and rebuy tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance.

Prizes include holes at Genoa Lakes and Edgewood, a Station House Inn dinner, Tahoe Fly Fishing instructions, a four-hour fishing charter, Les Schwab wheel alignment, a stay at Sorensen’s, a stay at Harveys and cabaret show tickets, Struve’s winter tune-up, ski passes, dinners, massages, free chiropractic sessions, family skate passes, a David A. Russo watercolor, titled “Reflections of Fallen Leaf Lake,” and the grand prize of a vacation for six nights and seven days courtesy of RCI worldwide five-star resort.
