Windjammers Yacht Club wraps up season with Fannette Island Race, LB wins on the water

Tahoe Windjammers Yacht Club brought its 2016 sailing season to an end Sunday, Sept. 18. The club’s Fannette Island Race featured nine boats, and was won by LB.
The SR Max boat skippered by Carsten Owens won with a corrected time of 3:58:55.1, to take the race by nearly six minutes. Apres Ski, a Moore 24, finished second with a time of 4:01:17.8 — seven boats completed the course that spanned 12 nautical miles.
