Woman arrested on suspicion of drunken driving

Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 31-year-old South Lake Tahoe woman on suspicion of drunken driving after she allegedly drove a Honda CR-V off a ledge in front of MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa early Sunday morning.

The crash happened about 1:44 a.m. and caused the vehicle to land on its passenger side on the sidewalk in front of the casino, according a deputy’s report. The woman, who was not injured, had a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.115 percent. The legal limit for driving is 0.08 percent.

She was booked into Douglas County’s Stateline Jail on suspicion of drunken driving.
