Woman takes off after stabbing

A San Francisco man was stabbed above the heart Wednesday when his girlfriend threw a knife at him during an argument near Regan Beach, authorities said.

The man walked around for about an hour with the small laceration until law enforcement was called. He denied medical attention. Police were looking for the 39-year-old girlfriend, who took off in her vehicle.

The man said she was an excellent shot since she plays darts.
