Women’s Center hosts breakfast

In observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, the South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center will host an Interfaith Roundtable Breakfast at no charge for all clergy working with families in the community.

The breakfast will take place from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 8 at Carrows Restaurant, 2397 Lake Tahoe Blvd. All clergy are encouraged to attend by calling Lois Denowitz, community educator, at (530) 542-7622.

The Women’s Center is interested in bringing all members of the faith community together to discuss what religious communities can do to prevent domestic violence, issues of religious concerns and resources for the families served in the community.
