Women’s Center seeks volunteers for crisis line

The South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center is seeking volunteers for its crisis line. This winter Lake Tahoe Community College will offer a five-unit class on domestic violence, sexual assault and c child abuse dynamics. After completing the call participants will have the option to volunteer with the South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center.

The class offers a great opportunity to learn about some of the most important and talked about current social problems. Guest speakers from the community will contribute their expertise to the issues. Give the gift of volunteering in the community this holiday season.

For more information regarding the program contact Lois Denowitz, community educator, at (530) 544-2118.
