Workshop on healing oils planned

A workshop titled “An Introduction to Essential Oils,” the ancient Egyptian’s first medicine, will be offered twice. The first session will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Unity Apartment office, 1088 Fourth St., and the second is scheduled from 12:45 to 2 p.m. feb. 28 at the office of Dr. Stew Bittman, 3170 U.S. Highway 50, Suite 1. Donations and love offerings will be accepted.

Participants will discover how essential oils regenerate, oxygenate, detoxify and are powerful antioxidants. They also will learn ways to apply them to accelerate their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. The workshop will be presented by Bette St. Laurence, MA, MFCC, also known as the Rev. Aome, master healer and teacher. The goal of her work is to assist people seeking to strengthen their ability to help themselves, to take a pro-active approach to life and to unleash the internal resources to optimize greater well-being.
