Young artists recycle

Provided to the Tribune Tahoe Valley Elementary School third-graders Dylan Gooding and Caleb Bray show off recycled art. The art project now is on display at the South Lake Tahoe Branch Library.

Mrs. Schwartz’s third-grade class from Tahoe Valley Elementary School is displaying recycled art at the South Lake Tahoe Branch Public Library from May 13-23.

Using recycled materials, the kids created characters to learn about recycling.

The exhibit later will be be on display at Tahoe Valley during the open house from 5 to 8 p.m. May 28.
