Young Democrats meet candidates

Young Democrats from Northern Nevada and Democratic candidates running for office gathered near Zephyr Cove on Saturday to celebrate the exciting upcoming midterm elections.
Candidates that came to meet the Young Democrats included representatives from Senatorial candidate Jack Carter, Gubernatorial candidate Senator Dina Titus, Jill Derby, who is running for Congress, Greta Hambsch who is running for Douglas County Commissioner, State Assembly candidate Jo Etta Brown, and State Controller candidate Kim Wallin.
The purpose of the event was to unify the Northern Nevada Democratic youth and educate the youth about the upcoming elections.
Students from the University of Nevada, Reno got to speak one on one with Sen. Titus about issues such as voter apathy and her upcoming debate with Jim Gibbons.
