1. Santa Skis at Homewood



Ski with Santa, snap a photo or even get a gift from the man himself at Homewood this weekend on the beginner and intermediate runs.

Where: Homewood Mountain Ski Resort | 5145 W. Lake Blvd., Homewood

2. Cross Country Opening Day

Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Area is scheduled to open this Friday, weather permitting. Check the website for weather, operations, ticket, and rental information.

When: Friday, Dec. 22 | 8 a.m.

3. Stars & S’mores

Tahoe Star Tours will launch a new “Stars & S’mores” program from The Ritz-Carlton, where guests can learn about the cosmos during a fireside astronomy conversation and observation through Celestron telescopes.

4. Santa Cruise

Celebrate on the water during Zephyr Cove Marina’s Santa Cruise featuring St. Nick, Lake Tahoe views, professional photography, holiday music, treats and hot chocolate.

6. Toccata – Tahoe Symphony Presents Handel Messiah

Olympic Village Lodge will transform into the Merry Wonderland, featuring a grand performance of elegant classical music ensembles performed by the TOCCATA — Tahoe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.

8. Sunday Brunch
