Melonie Theresia Zeid and Cpl. Ryan Benjamin Tippetts exchanged wedding vows July 23 at Lake Tahoe Golf Course. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Spinola and witnessed by 100 family members and friends.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Julie Zeid of South Lake Tahoe and the bridegroom’s parents are Boyd Tippetts and Lori Lyons of Utah.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless, champagne-colored, floor-length, A-line dress with a beautifully embroidered bodice. Her jewelry was designed by her friend Bethany Marquez to complement her gown. She carried a bouquet of roses with mixed colors.

The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Alisha Zeid of South Lake Tahoe and bridesmaids were Bekka Days, Allie Letendre and Amanda Hammond, all of South Lake Tahoe, and Rachel McIntosh of Acton, Calif. Each attendant wore a burnt-orange colored, knee-length satin dress and carried roses of different shades of orange.

Best man was the bridegroom’s brother, Kory Tippetts of Utah, and groomsmen were Cpl. William Baracosa, Sgt. J.P. Carter, Andrew Lorzeniewski and Sgt. Shane Christopher.

Immediately following the ceremony, a dinner reception was hosted by the parents of the bride.

Ryan and Melonie enjoyed five days on Prince Edward Island for their honeymoon and now live in Gardnerville.
