Zephyr Cove branch celebrates National LIbrary Week

Children created their own books April 10 during the National Library Week Program at the Zephyr Cove Library.

Children made their own books from a “Build a Book Kit” the library purchased from its summer reading book fair.

The kit included a 10-page spiral bound book, storyboard, foam shapes, glue stick, felt tip pen and google eyes.

“We added markers and let the kids create silly stories, friendship stories, animal stories and more,” said Carol Nageotte, library services coordinator for the Douglas County Public Library.
