‘Zero deficiency’ at nursing facility

Barton Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility received a zero deficiency score after bring surveyed by the State Licensing and Certification Survey Agency.

The survey, which is completed to determine if a facility is in compliance with federal requirements for nursing homes participating in the Medicare and/or Medicaid programs, found that the SNF was in absolute compliance, receiving no deficiencies. This is a very rare occurrence in California.
