Madison Schultz

Born and raised in Northern California, Madison Schultz has always been an avid lover of all things Lake Tahoe. From a young age, she knew that she wanted to be a writer, and spent her free time writing stories and immersing herself in reading.

Schultz made the move to South Lake Tahoe in 2017 to pursue her degree at University of Nevada, Reno – Lake Tahoe, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Communications in 2020. Living in Lake Tahoe for over six years, Schultz became deeply involved in Tahoe’s local communities, building formidable relationships with local community members and business owners, and writing stories all around the Lake Tahoe Basin. Schultz was a reporter for the Tribune from June 2022 to September 2023 before moving out of the area.

Schultz now lives in Portland, Oregon, but is still actively tied to the local Tahoe community through telling stories through her writing. In her free time, Schultz enjoys spending time outside, hanging out with friends and family, and going to concerts; but even decades later, you can always find her sticking to her favorite hobbies: reading and writing.
