Alm bowls yet another 300 game

There are many sports in Lake Tahoe to partake in. Bowling is a great indoor sport that people of all can ages can enjoy.

Bowling begins in the preps, peewee and junior/adult leagues. Developing your game takes place in the early years.

George Alm is one of the young men who started bowling early in life. And he has a desire to excel in the sport.

Alm exploded this year on the lanes like a dormant volcano erupting. The smooth, right-handed power bowler had a banner year, recording three perfect 300 games this season.

He also rolled an 800 series in the city tournament in the doubles division in April. On top of that, Alm booked a 220 average in the His and Hers League and a 217 average in the Basin Bowlers League.

Alm’s desire, dedication and determination in the sport encourages others who know him to bowl their best. His presence on the lanes in two leagues – coupled with his ability to help and coach others – shows his true commitment.

Alm now has five 300 games to his credit, along with two 800 series in his career. As you enter Tahoe Bowl, look at the charts and you will see Alm at the top in both series and perfect games.

It’s no wonder why Alm is the best bowler in Lake Tahoe. Alm’s kind nature, great personality and respect for others who share the spirit of bowling with him brings out the best in all who know him.

Alm will receive four awards from the United States Bowling Congress for his excellent performance on the lanes for the 2005-06 season.

Alm is also my pick for the Bowler of the Year for his awesome achievements at Tahoe Bowl. He is just awesome.
