The Whittell High baseball team got head coach Don Amaral his 100th win at the school with a 12-2, six-inning rout of Coleville High on Tuesday in Gardnerville.

Danny Shapiro had four RBIs for Whittell (15-11 overall) and Tommy Esquivel drove in two runs, including a walk-off, bases-loaded double in the bottom of the sixth that ended up scoring just one run thanks to the 10-run rule.

Chris Shapiro and Chris Pavich, who threw back-to-back no-hitters against White Pine High on Saturday, threw an inning each to start the game and again held the opposition without a hit.
