Bandits capture STNLL AAA championship

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — The South Tahoe National Little League AAA Division championship belongs to the Bandits. The Bandits beat the Riverdogs 11-4 in the title game Saturday at the STNLL Complex.

The Bandits broke out for 11 runs in Saturday’s championship game, led offensively by Nico Wagner, Vincent Abbondandolo, Cameron Gurner and Johnny Yarbrough. Ian Ross started on the mound and allowed three earned runs in three innings — Wagner struck out six in a pair of relief frames.
