Blair, Hylander and Campbell roll a season-high series

Our top three men’s bowlers of the week are Kevin Blair, Mike Hylander and Willie Campbell.

Blair bowls in the Basin Bowlers League on the Deadwood team and sports a 230 average, the highest at Tahoe Bowl. He exploded for games of 298-258-202 en route to his season-high series of 758. Blair will receive his “11 Strikes In A Row” plaque from the United States Bowling Congress.



Hylander bowls on the Our Excuse Is team in the His and Hers League and carries a 212 average. He recorded games of 277-278 en route to a season-high series of 743.

Campbell carries a 215 average on the Acri Construction team in the Basin Bowlers League. He unleashed games of 243-267-226 en route to his personal-best series of 736 for the season.



By all recording personal bests for a season-high series, Blair, Hylander and Campbell were selected as Shott’s bowlers of the week.

Our top three women’s bowlers of the week are Margie Stephens, Samantha Taylor and Shannon Bigley.

Stephens bowls in the South Tahoe Seniors League and carries a 157 average. She connected for the high women’s game of the week (231).

Taylor bowls on the Team 1 team in the Basin Bowlers League and maintains a 173 average. She produced games of 211-209.

Bigley bowls on the Armed and Hammered team in the His and Hers League and holds a 142 average. She recorded her very first game over the 200 barrier by rolling a fine 203 game.

Along with Stephens and Taylor, Bigley will receive their 200 series award from the USBC and were selected as Shott’s women’s bowlers of the week.
