Damonte shuts out STHS softball

South Tahoe High’s Tiffany Racz, Moriah Lane and Kelly Bartlett all recorded hits, but Damonte Ranch was too dominant in a 10-0 Sierra League softball win over the Vikings on Thursday in Reno.

“Once they start believing in themselves a little more, I think they’ll be all right,” said STHS coach Joann Allister. “The kids are capable of winning these ball games. We just have to work a little hard and string some hits together.”

South Tahoe (7-5 overall, 3-1 league) plays a doubleheader on Saturday at Damonte Ranch.
