No fewer than three beginning golf and four intermediate golf classes are still open for Lake Tahoe Community College spring and summer sessions through June 21.

The mid-week morning classes are held at Tahoe Paradise and Lake Tahoe golf courses.

The beginning course provides students with basic skills and concentration on the use of irons and woods as well as rules of the game and scoring.

Intermediate students will review all the rules and scoring basics, practice techniques and course management. Students critique and analyze stroke techniques and difficulties and the course assists students interested in progressing to the advanced level.

Both classes require an off-campus facilities use fee of $40. For registration information, phone (530) 541-4660, ext. 246.
