Dolphins’ Crawford will host Super Bowl party at Lakeside Inn and Casino

Mike Crawford, rookie linebacker of the Miami Dolphins, will make a special appearance at Lakeside Inn and Casino’s Super Bowl Party. Crawford, a Whittell High School and University of Nevada, Reno graduate, will answer questions about his rookie year and his future career with the Miami Dolphins and the NFL. Crawford will be at the party starting at 2:30 p.m. and will remain throughout the 1998 Super Bowl XXXII party extravaganza.

During his rookie year in the NFL, Crawford, 6-foot-2-inches, 250 pounds, played middle linebacker and special teams for the Miami Dolphins. While playing football at Nevada, Mike was recognized as the Most Valuable Player in the 1996 Las Vegas Bowl. He was also honored as a first-team All-Big West linebacker for the 1996 season. Crawford maintains a residence in Lake Tahoe with his parents and considers this community to be his home.

Partygoers can watch the gameon ontwo 10-foot television screens and four 5-foot televisions. Admission to the party includes a free $100 football pool; all the food you can eat, featuring nachos, tacos, hot dogs and more; a free drawing after the party for great prizes; and all drinks are $1. There will be a special appearance by the Jaegermeister and Miller girls. Admission is $15 per person and tickets can be purchased at the sports book. Participants must be 21.
