Extreme event at Squaw

Special to Tribune

For the third year running, the legendary terrain of Squaw Valley USA will attract more than 125 of the world’s most talented skiers and snowboarders for the e97 All Mountain Extremes March 10-15.

This prestigious open tournament will once again pit legend vs. legend to compete for $2000 in cash and prizes as well as the chance to win their way up and into the Extreme World Championships in Valdez, Alaska.

Utilizing Squaw Valley USA’s legendary terrain, Patrick McIntyre, director of the All Mountain Extremes, exclaims, “The All Mountain Extremes has been and always will be one of the best spectator events in the world. If you are looking to enjoy the event as a spectator, here will be plenty of area to relax and view the extreme action each and every day.”

The e97 All Mountain Extremes is a sanctioned qualifier to the World Extreme Skiing Championships and the King of the Hill Snowboarding Competition in Valdez, Alaska. The third annual AMX Pro/Am at Squaw Valley USA continues to be a great opportunity to automatically qualify for these “invitation only” competitions. Even better, if you place in the top three in any of three categories, you are automatically registered in next year’s event at Squaw Valley USA.

To obtain a competitor registration form for the e97 All Mountain Extremes at Squaw Valley USA and/or details on the event, contact Patrick McIntyre at (916) 581-3676.
