Game of Stones wins Lake Tahoe Epic Curling spring league

Tribune staff report

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — Lake Tahoe Epic Curling wrapped up its spring curling league, with Game of Stones taking home the championship at SLT Ice Arena. Teammates Ray Sidney, Adam Michalski, Matt Asher and Caroline Fallu surged through the second half of the season to edge out #One for the title.

An 0-1-1 start seemed to doom Game of Stones, but it would not be denied and eventually clinched the title with a win over Curls Gone Wild.

While there will be curling during the summer, the next LTEC league will begin in September. For more info visit http://www.tahoecurling.com.
