Hartley offers coed baseball camp at Kahle

Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department and Mike Hartley, a former Major League pitcher, are offering a Youth Baseball Camp Aug. 13-16 at Kahle Community Park.

The coed camp is for ages 8 to 12 and runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. The cost is $75 per person, which includes a camp T-shirt. This baseball camp is for all levels of baseball players. The camps will include quality instruction on the fundamentals of batting, throwing, catching, pitching, baserunning and fielding.

All campers need to bring a lunch, water bottle, glove and bat each day. Spaces are limited, so register early and preregistration is required. For details, call Kahle Community Center at (775) 586-7271.
