Heavenly Mountain Resort set for earlier summer hours

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — Beginning Saturday, Heavenly Mountain Resort will give visitors and extra hour to enjoy its summer activities. The gondola will open at 9 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. for the remainder of the summer or until further notice.

In addition to the gondola, guest services and ticket offices will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All of the resort’s summer activities will be open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including the Blue Streak and Hot Shot zip lines, Discovery Forest, Black Bear and Boulder Cove ropes courses along with the climbing wall and tubing hill.

Tamarack Lodge will open at 9 a.m. for grab-and-go selections, with the food court open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bar 9150 will serve drinks from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. while the Fresh Squeeze fruit and juice station the top of the gondola near the climbing wall will operate from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

In Heavenly Village, Heavenly Donuts will be open from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 8:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Café Blue will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
