Jones gives 182 average a beating

Our top three men’s bowlers of the week are Danny Jones, Scott Campbell, and Steve Seitz.

Jones bowls for Cheap Shirts in the Guys and Dolls League and holds a 182 average. Jones exploded for games of 247, 231 and 226 for a 704 series. Jones will receive his 700 series patch award from the ABC. His efforts on the lanes earned him Shott’s Men’s Bowler of the Week. Great bowling, Danny!



Campbell rolls for All Fall Down in the Guys and Dolls League and carries a 158 average. Campbell connected for the highest game recorded this year — 280. Campbell will receive his 100 pins-over-his-average award from the ABC. Great Game, Scott.

Seitz bowls for the Deputy Sheriffs Association in the Guys and Dolls League and has a 156 average. Seitz produced a great 243 game. Great bowling Steve!



Our top three women’s bowlers of the week are Arlene Hailey, Jackie Smith, and Theresa Cruff.

Hailey bowls in the His and Hers League and maintains a 192 average. Hailey scored games of 238, 206 and 199 for a 643 series. Her game is the highest women’s game this year. Hailey’s results earned her Shott’s Women Bowler of the Week. Great bowling, Arlene.

Smith bowls on Skylanders in the South Tahoe Seniors league and carries a 137 average. Smith rolled a 207 game, which is 70 pins over her average. Great game, Jackie.

Cruff bowls for McGee Plumbing in the Basin Bowlers League and maintains a 163 average. Cruff connected for a high 221 game. Great game, Theresa.

Don’t forget Monte Carol Bowling every Friday night at 9 p.m. Entry fees are $12. Be sure to sign up at Tahoe Bowl. Also Junior League sign-ups will take place on Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at Tahoe Bowl. Anyone interested in bowling in the junior programs, should call Tahoe Bowl at (530) 544-3200.
